FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAMS

Delta LDC recently conducted a three-part financial literacy webinar series entitled "Money Manners: Making $ense out of ¢ents". Led by volunteer financial counselors, Richard and Betty Shepherd, the webinar series encouraged participants to begin the slow process of reviewing their finances and making significant changes to improve and manage their financial activities.

READING & COMPREHENSION PROGRAMS

Delta LDC has worked with numerous DeKalb County Schools to provide reading and mathematics tutorial assistance to low-performing students in Preschool through 5th grade.
Our past summer reading programs included a five-week effort to offer stimulating activities led by experienced teachers and volunteers, using engaging materials that can be used at home to encourage independent reading by the student participants.
